Our presenter is Greg Johnson, President of United Valve, a valve repair, modification and testing facility located in Houston, TX. He is chairman of the VMA Education & Training Committee, which has been instrumental in launching VMA’s “Valve Ed” program, including a 1-day “Valves & Actuators 101” course. He is the recipient of a VMA Service Award for his extensive volunteer work for the association. In addition, United Valve is a member of the Valve Repair Council and Johnson serves on its board of directors. He has also has been an active member of the API Piping Subcommittee for 20 years and is a participant in ISO valve standards activities. As a member of the Manufacturers Standardization Society, he serves as chairman of Committee 310, “Valve Modification,” and serves on the MSS board of directors. |
